IronMike |  (Iron)

Massive bedded oolitic magnetite occurs as a prominent resistant ridge with a measured strike length of 366 m and an apparent thickness of 46 m. Several assays taken at different localities along the strike length of the deposit indicate a range of 55% to 58% iron.

The IronMike is located in the north-west part of Yukon Territory, Canada. It is about 8km north of the Arctic Circle and 30 km east of the Alaska/Yukon border.

The Dempster Highway which connects with the highway and rail systems of the southern Yukon is about 130km to the southeast. It is also 88 km south of the Porcupine River which is capable of handling barge traffic during the summer months. The Porcupine is a tributary of the Yukon River which empties into the Pacific Ocean near the Bering Strait.

In addition the property lies 150 km west of proven oil and gas reserves beneath the Eagle Plain and 88 km south of one of the proposed routes of the Arctic System Gas Lines from the Alaskan Prudhoe Bay Field.
